INVITATION FOR BIDS

SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF MOTOR VEHICLE 

I.         Introduction

The Early Childhood Development (ECD) Coalition of Malawi, established in 2010, is a membership organization dedicated to sharing experiences, lessons learned, and strengthening the voice of citizens and stakeholders regarding the ECD agenda in Malawi. The Coalition is fully registered with the Malawi Government under the Trustees Incorporation Act (CAP 5:03).

The ECD Coalition is one of the partners implementing an organizational capacity strengthening project, funded by the Tilitonse Foundation through the Civil Society Strengthening Fund, which is part of the Comic Relief and UK Aid Shifting the Power Programme. A portion of this funding has been allocated for the purchase of a motor vehicle for the organization.

II.         PURPOSE

Purpose of the Invitation for Bid

The purpose of this Invitation for Bid is to solicit bids from qualified firms/supplier for the supply of one unregistered motor vehicle, with the explicit requirement that the selected supplier facilitates Interpol clearance where possible. We are considering the following options:

  • Nissan X-Trail (New Face),
  • Nissan X-Trail (Old Face)
  • Toyota Axio.

Bidders are encouraged to submit their bid in accordance with the detailed specifications provided in the annex. We look forward to your competitive offers and appreciate your interest in partnering with us.

IV.         ECDC COALITON RIGHTS

ECD Coalition maintains the right to accept or reject  bid and cancel the process as long as ECD Coalition has not signed the relevant contract.
