Job Title: Informatics Intern (2 Positions)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive Informatics Intern to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about creating innovative digital health solutions, possess strong technical skills, and be eager to learn and grow in a collaborative environment. You will work closely with the informatics team to design, develop, deploy, and evaluate digital job aids and related health informatics solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work under the supervision of the Informatics Program Manager to support design, development, and maintenance of digital health tools.
  • Contribute to the design, development, and deployment of digital job aids.
    Maintain and update digital job aids deployed in different health settings.
  • Conduct evaluations of digital solutions to identify improvements and compare competing products.
  • Participate in research and contribute to technical documentation and reports.
  • Assist in system troubleshooting, code review, and software optimization.
  • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure solutions meet user and project requirements.

Education/Qualifications:

Recently graduated or pending graduation with a Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline).

Skills:

  • Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies. ● Proficiency in Python, MySQL, and NoSQL databases.
  • Ability to read and understand existing code and documentation (reverse engineering). ● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to learn new technologies and subject areas quickly.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
