JOB TITLE: General Fitter cum Turner
Reporting to: Maintenance Manager
Job Summary:
Flowtech Limited is seeking an experienced and skilled Fitter cum Turner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for emergency and scheduled maintenance of production equipment, ensuring smooth operations and minimal downtime.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly to emergency mechanical breakdowns.
- Carry out routine lubrication of all machines.
- Close Maintenance Requisition Forms (MRF) upon job completion.
- Execute preventive maintenance activities as instructed by the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Assist in the installation of machinery, air, or water lines.
- Ensure leakage-free air and water distribution systems.
- Operate machines for turning, boring, milling, shaping, slotting, grinding, or drilling of metal stock/components.
- Fit and assemble metal parts, tools, or sub-assemblies, including welding or brazing as required.
- Dismantle faulty tools/assemblies and repair or replace defective parts.
- Maintain safety standards at all times and immediately report hazards.
- Keep accurate maintenance logbooks and checklists.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Maintenance Manager or Supervisor.
✅ Requirements:
- Grade 1 Certificate in Mechanical Trade / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Age: 23–40 years.
