VACANCY ADVERT – FOREMAN

Position overview and role description:

The Foreman will be responsible for coordinating, supervising, and ensuring the effective execution of infrastructure-related activities within the scope of the Project. The role requires a strong commitment to meeting project timelines, quality standards, and safety and sustainability objectives.

Working closely with the Site Agent and field teams, the Foreman will manage field teams, equipment, and materials to ensure that all operations are carried out in accordance with the established technical and operational plans.

The main responsibilities will include:

  • Organize, plan, and control diverse activities including earthworks, trenching, pipe laying, civil construction, and infrastructure support in accordance with approved designs and schedules
  • Supervise and guide operators and field teams, ensuring high performance and adherence to assigned task;
  • Ensure accurate interpretation and implementation of technical drawings, topographic maps, and project specifications
  • Manage the efficient use and maintenance (preventive and corrective) of earthmoving equipment
  • Monitor compliance with occupational safety and environmental protection standards
  • Identify and report any anomalies, deviations, or unforeseen events, proposing appropriate technical solutions
  • Support the Site Agent in preparing measurements, progress reports, and productivity controls
  • Promote a collaborative, safe, and results-driven work environment that upholds discipline and operational excellence
  • Ensure timely completion of assigned works and optimize methods and processes as necessary

Job requirements and competency profile:

  • Secondary education or technical/vocational training in civil construction, surveying, or related field
  • Minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in trenching and pipe laying
  • Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
  • Proven leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent planning, organization, and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong sense of responsibility, accuracy, and attention to detail
  • Results-oriented mindset with the ability to meet deadlines and performance targets
  • Mobility availability
