To accomplish its mission, RM Enterprises is inviting suitably qualified candidates to fill the position of Finance and Administration Manager.

Position Description:

The Finance and Administration Manager oversees financial operations throughout the project, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control to ensure projects are completed on time and in budget. The role is also accountable for producing accurate, relevant and timeous management reporting for the business.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Effectively collaborate with Project Managers to ensure set targets are achieved.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and standards.
  • Monitor project costs, analyse variances, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks associated with construction projects.
  • Implement, track and assess all relevant internal controls to minimise risk
  • Develop and maintain relationships with financial institutions, suppliers, and key stakeholders.
  • Responsible for the preparation and processing of payroll account transactions in accordance with company policies, processes and procedures.
  • Ensure that the company is compliant with all tax laws and regulations.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Accountancy or equivalent Financial qualification
  • Understanding of Malawi Tax laws
  • 3 – 5 years relevant working experience
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work with people at various levels of the business;
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Exceptional accounting and reporting skills.
  • Goal-orientated and committed to delivering quality outputs.
