POSITION :CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTS MANAGER.

JOB DESCRIPTIONS

• Preparing tenders for clients and commercial bids to help bring in new business
• Developing and presenting project proposals
• Meeting with clients to find out their requirements
• Producing plans and estimating budgets and timescales
• Creating and maintaining healthy relationships with suppliers and customers
• Researching, gathering, and presenting information to clients and/or stakeholders regarding contracts
• Overseeing and/or managing the ordering of materials and supplies
• Devising ways by which budgets can be minimized
• Negotiating construction contracts for the organization or clients
• Drafting and revising a variety of contracts with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors
• Serving as the main point of contact for clients, site, and project managers
• Supplying information to resolve any disputes
• Identifying areas for improvement and overseeing health and safety
• Working closely with other professionals, like construction managers, quantity surveyors and planning engineers.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bsc Civil Engineering,
• Must be a Paid up member of Malawi Engineering Institution (Note: Attach MEI Payment Receipt for Current Year),
• 10 Years Experience working on irrigation or water supply projects,
• At least 2 projects constructing irrigation or water supply schemes,
• Should be able to fluently speak and write english
