We are looking for suitably qualified, passionate, hardworking, and enthusiastic individuals to fill the position of:

Biomedical Engineering Intern (Biomedical engineer)

Reports to: Engineering Lead

Location: Global Health Informatics Training Center, Area 3 – Lilongwe, Malawi

Contract: Internship

Program: Oxygen Alliance

Position overview

We are looking for a Biomedical Engineering Intern to support data tasks, content creation, and digital platform management while gaining hands-on experience in biomedical engineering.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with data entry, report preparation, and situational analysis tasks.
  • Provide support during maintenance video shoots, webinars, and script preparation.
  • Help upload and manage resources on the BME Konza platform.
  • Participate in user testing and provide feedback.
  • Monitor social media/comments and channel queries.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Recent graduate in Biomedical Engineering not earlier than 2024 or pending graduation Interest in medical equipment and digital tools.
  • Excellent public speaking and communication skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to dynamic tasks. Strong attention to detail.
