Everlasting Life Ministry International (ELMI) is a church based nonprofit making organization. The ministry is Godly centered and believes in the principles of the bible. ELMI Invites applications from suitably qualified individual to fill the position of Accountant based in Zomba.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance or Accounting or related field from a well recognized and NCHE accredited Institution
- Three (3) years of related experience and at least one year in a supervisory role.
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g ACCA, CIMA, CA) is a strong advantage
- Experience with managing grants and donor financial reporting.
- Experience in a donor-funded development environment with compliance requirements of institutional funders.
- Knowledge of Quick books, Excel and other Financial Tools
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
