Mining Vacancies
Lotus Africa seeks to recruit a suitably qualified and motivated individuals join on various positions in the Mining department at Kayelekera Uranium Mine in Karonga.
Blasters
- Relevant mining/blasting qualification or certification.
- Valid blasting/shotfirer license or permit where required by law.
- Previous experience in mining or quarry blasting is preferred.
- Good understanding of explosives, initiation systems, blast design, and mine safety.
- Three years’ experience.
Grader Operators
- Valid motor grader/operator certificate or competency license.
- Previous experience operating graders in a mining, quarry, road construction, or civil works environment.
- Knowledge of basic road construction and grading principles.
- Physically fit and able to work shifts and in challenging outdoor conditions.
- Ability to work shifts and in challenging outdoor conditions.
Dozer Operators
- Valid motor grader/operator certificate or competency license.
- Previous experience operating graders in a mining, quarry, road construction, or civil works environment.
- Knowledge of basic road construction and grading principles.
- Physically fit and able to work shifts and in challenging outdoor conditions.
- Ability to work shifts and in challenging outdoor conditions.
