COUNTER SALES CLERK

Agricultural Trading Company Limited (ATC), a subsidiary company of AHL Group Plc, is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the vacant position of Counter Sales Clerk. The posts are tenable within Lilongwe City and at Mponela in Dowa.

Position Function

Reporting to the Branch Supervisor, the overall function of the Counter- Sales Clerk is to serve customers and sell products at a point of sale.

Main Duties and responsibilities:

• Selling of agricultural-related products and services.
• Providing technical advice to customers on the use of products.
• Liaising with Branch Supervisors on product demands and restocking.
• Participating in periodic stock-taking exercises.
• Updating bin cards on all stocked or delivered products.
• Conducting daily sales summary and banking.
• Any other related duties assigned by the Supervisor from time to time.

Qualifications/Experience/ Personal Specifications

• A Certificate or a Diploma in Business Management /Accounts Marketing.
• Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE).
• At least 2 years’ working experience.
• Excellent computer skills.
• Team player.
