inq. Malawi is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Key Account Representative to join our innovative team. As a leading provider of connectivity, digital and cloud solutions, we are dedicated to revolutionising the digital landscape. We are looking for individuals with a strong sales background and extensive experience in digital and cloud solutions to join our winning team to be based in Blantyre and Lilongwe.
Role Overview
As a Key Account Representative, you will be responsible for driving sales and revenue growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. Your primary focus will be on selling our cutting-edge digital and cloud solutions to potential clients. This role requires a strategic thinker who can effectively communicate the value of our offerings and tailor solutions to meet the unique needs of each client.
Main Responsibilities
1. Corporate Sales:
- Identify and cultivate relationships with prospective clients to understand their business challenges and goals.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to effectively promote our digital and cloud solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to craft customised proposals and presentations that address client requirements.
- Prepare and submit timely bids, tenders, and proposals, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all requirements.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve sales targets and objectives.
- Stay up to date on industry trends and emerging technologies to effectively position our solutions on the market.
- Develop and drive inq. Strategy for assigned key accounts.
- Minimise churn and maximise retention in assigned accounts.
- Providing technical advice to clients on all aspects of the installation and use of inq.’s solutions both before and after the sales
- Re-evaluating progress against revenue/profit goals monthly.
- Preparing and delivering client presentations and demonstrations of the inq.’s solutions, articulately and confidently.
2. Administrative
- Client management and weekly sales reports to the Head of Sales.
3. Interdepartmental interactions
- Understand and engage internal departments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration / Marketing and Diploma in CIM, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven knowledge of ICT, Digital, hardware, software/systems and cloud services.
- Proven track record in sales, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong background in digital and cloud solutions, systems and connectivity.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to understand complex technical concepts and translate them into compelling value propositions.
- Experience compiling bids, tenders, and proposals.
- Experience handling and engaging C-level management.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a passion for driving business growth
