Kentam Products Limited, a manufacturer and distributor of pharmaceutical and cosmetic products based in Mzuzu, Malawi; invites applications for several positions following its recent Factory expansion:
1. SENIOR PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR
Reporting to the Production Manager & tenable in Mzuzu:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise drug production and packing.
- Assign tasks & supervise production staff and machine operators.
- Ensure adherence to cGMPs, compliance and quality requirements.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum BSC Pharmacy (must be registered with PMRA)
- Minimum 5 years work experience in pharmaceutical or medical industries.
- Supervisory experience of at least 3 years.
2. QUALITY CONTROL ANALYSTS
Reporting to the Quality Control Manager & tenable in Mzuzu:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Carry out various chemical analyses of raw materials and products against specifications.
- Operate various pieces of laboratory equipment.
- Carry out various in-process quality checks during production.
REQUIREMENTS:
- BSc in Sciences (Chemistry) or Lab Technology.
- Previous Industrial laboratory experience an advantage.
Knowledge of cMPs and GLPs. - Knowledge & operational experience of different Lab equipment.
3. HR OFFICER
Reporting to the HR Manager & tenable in Mzuzu:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide clerical support to the HR Manager.
- Handle daily HR administrative & compliance tasks.
- Facilitate recruitment process & orientation efforts.
- Maintain & update personnel records.
- Facilitate HR events.
- Compile various HR reports.
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Human Resources or related field.
- Minimum 3 years experience in HR, Manufacturing environment.
- Strong IT skills.
- Strong organizational & communication skills.
4. BOOK KEEPING CLERKS
Reporting to the Production Manager & tenable in Mzuzu:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide all book keeping support to production operations at all stages.
- Data recording and reconciliation.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum Diploma in Book Keeping.
- Minimum 2 years clerical experience in manufacturing environment
- IT skills a must
- Energetic self-starter with strong organization and time management skills
5. PRODUCTION MACHINE OPERATORS
Reporting to the Production Manager & tenable in Mzuzu plant:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate various production equipment & run production batches.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum Grade 2 General Fitter Trade Test Certificate.
- At least 3 years Industrial machine operations experience.
6. VAN & MOTORBIKE SALES MEN
Tenable in Mzuzu, Blantyre & Lilongwe offices & reporting to the Regional Sales Officer:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Sales operations in various outlets.
- Gather market information & identify new sales prospects.
- Plan and implement effective customer call plans.
REQUIREMENTS
- Certificate/ Diploma in Sales & Marketing.
- At least 2 vears’ experience in Van or motorbike salesmanship.
- Valid clean driving licences.
