We are seeking a reliable, safety-conscious and service-oriented Driver to support our operations in Mzuzu.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport staff, equipment, and organizational property to designated locations as directed by management.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicles are in optimal condition (checking oil, coolant, brake fluid, tires, lights, etc.).
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the vehicle logbook for all trips undertaken.
• Report immediately any accidents, mechanical issues, or security concerns to the supervisor.
• Ensure the safety, comfort, and security of passengers and cargo at all times.
• Adhere strictly to organizational policy: no unauthorized passengers may be carried in VisionFund vehicles.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance and coordinate servicing as needed.
• Carry out any other duties assigned by the supervisor in support of VisionFund’s mission.

Qualifications, Skills & Competencies

• Minimum education: Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) or equivalent.
• Valid Malawian driver’s license (Class B minimum; Class C an added advantage).
• Certificate in automotive maintenance or mechanics preferred
