Walitsani Tours and Travel is looking for a dynamic, detail-oriented, and passionate Travel Consultant to join our growing team. If you love travel, enjoy crafting memorable experiences, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this opportunity is for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Curate and design customized travel packages (local, regional, and international).
- Handle flight bookings and ticketing efficiently.
- Prepare quotations, itineraries, and travel documentation.
- Liaise with hotels, airlines, transport providers, and other suppliers.
- Promote travel packages through marketing initiatives (social media, client outreach, partnerships).
- Provide excellent customer service from inquiry to post-travel follow-up.
- Meet sales targets and contribute to business growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Tourism, Travel & Tourism Management, Hospitality, or a related field.
- Proven experience in travel consulting or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of flight booking systems and ticketing procedures.
- Experience in curating tour packages and creating detailed itineraries.
- Marketing skills (social media marketing experience is an added advantage).
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant booking systems.
- A valid driver’s license is not mandatory but will be considered an added advantage.
