We are commencing the recruitment of key roles in our organisational structure and are seeking to grow our on-site team.

The Kangankunde Rare Earths Project in Malawi is the cornerstone of Lindian’s asset portfolio and ranks amongst some of the best underdeveloped rare earth assets in the world. Our assets will provide critical minerals to fuel the technologies of tomorrow, driving innovation and supporting the world’s energy transition.

Through the development of the Kangankunde Project, Lindian is set to become a globally significant rare earths producer.

INTERFACE AND ELECTRICAL MANAGER

Reporting to the construction site manager, you will:

  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of the electrical/ interface register.
  • Drive timely resolution of interface issues and clarifications.
  • Align contractor deliverables with project milestones and commissioning schedules.
  • Lead effective interface meetings and maintain strong communication channels.
  • Guarantee compliance with electrical safety standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee electrical tie-ins completed on schedule and aligned with operational readiness milestones.
  • Reduce unplanned outages or delays caused by electrical interface issues, ensuring defect-free commissioning.

To succeed in this role, you will possess the following:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Project Management, or related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 10 years of international mining and processing experience.
  • Proven expertise in electrical commissioning, plant management, and interface coordination.
  • Strong background in electrical systems for mineral processing (CIL, crushing, flotation, tailings, water treatment).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and complex electrical tie-ins.
  • Strong organisational, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Effective communication, conflict resolution, and leadership abilities under pressure, with commitment to safety and ethics.

Eligibility:

Only Malawian Citizens will be considered. Candidates must be eligible to work in Malawi. Candidates will be asked to complete a National Police Clearance prior to employment.
