VACANT POSITIONS
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill the following vacant positions tenable in the Private Banking Department.
SUITE LEADER – ZOMBA & MZUZU
Reporting to the Head of Private & Executive Banking, the successful candidate will lead and oversee the Private Banking suite, serving as the primary point of contact for high-net-worth clients while ensuring the delivery of responsive, proactive and tailored financial and business solutions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following, among other responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary contact for high-net-worth clients, understanding their unique financial goals to offer tailored solutions.
- Build strong, one-on-one client relationships through an annual customer calling plan and deliver world class service.
- Contribute to monthly planning and formulate action plans for client retention and portfolio growth.
- Ensure compliance with new customer onboarding checks, KYCIAML updates, and monitor high-risk accounts.
- Promote cross-selling, ensuring every account has at least 5 Value Added Services.
- Enforce SLAs, ensuring all activities are conducted within agreed timelines and parameters.
- Actively prospect and network to generate new business, leveraging internal and external referrals.
- Monitor client portfolios and recommend changes to help clients achieve their financial goals.
- Communicates the Private and Executive Banking value propositions and all changes to all stakeholders.
- Monitors portfolios and make recommendations for changes as needed to help clients reach their goals.
- Manages all aspects of the deal process from inception to closing, ensuring a seamless experience for the client.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree in Banking, Business Administration or equivalent.
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in Banking, Relationship Management, or a related financial services environment, with at least two (2) years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Planning and organizing skills plus good interpersonal and analytical skills.
