VACANT POSITIONS
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill the following vacant positions tenable in the Private Banking Department.
PRIVATE BANKER- BLANTYRE & LILONGWE
Reporting to the Suite Leader, the successful candidate’s responsibility will be to provide
personalized, relationship-focused services to the Sub-Segment, enhance cross-sell opportunities, and ensure adherence to risk management controls and credit procedures.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following, among other responsibilities:
- Ensure all required documentation is provided for account opening applications and open or upgrade migrated accounts.
- Refer any requests to close a client’s primary account or any investment accounts to the Private Banker.
- Attend to the closing of secondary accounts when no longer operational nor required
- Handle inter-account transfers and electronic inter-bank payments.
- Order replacement debit or credit cards upon customer request.
- Load Queries and monitor to ensure that they are resolved within laid-downturn-around times.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities and support migration initiatives
- Ensure that sales tracking forms are completed tor capturing on a weekly basis.
- Monitors routine controls in line with agreed policies and procedures to mitigate loss.
- Submit quality control of reports and incident reports of fraud to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Maintain product profile for portfolio updates.
- Ensure that sales tracking forms are completed for capturing on a weekly basis.
- Ensure filing for portfolio is done daily and that records kept in terms of the KYC.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree in Banking, Business Administration or equivalent.
- Minimum of four (4) years’ experience in Private Banking, Relationship Management, Sales or a similar client facing financial services environment.
