EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES
POSITION: LAND SURVEYOR (1 POSITION)
Minimum Qualifications:
A Bachelor of Science in Land Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or any related field from a recognised institution. Those with a Diploma or equivalent with at least ten (10) years’ experience hands-on will also be considered
Experience and skills:
Must have more than 3 years relevant working experience using traditional as well as modern surveying instruments in cadastral and land surveying work. Experience in engineering surveys and controlling quality of data in civil as well as building construction projects is a must. The incumbent must be of good communication and interpersonal skills, self-motivated individual and computer literate.
POSITION: QUANTITY SURVEYOR (1 POSITION)
Minimum Qualifications:
A Bachelor of Science in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or any related field from a recognised institution.
Experience and skills:
Must have more than 3 years relevant working experience in preparation of contract documents, preliminary and advanced stage estimates for tendering process and the Bills of Quantities, interim payment certificates and final accounts of projects. Experience in co supervising construction projects, attending site meetings, and controlling quality of measurement data in civil as well as building construction projects is a must. The incumbent must be of good communication and interpersonal skills, self-motivated individual and computer literate.
POSITION: SITE FOREMEN (3 POSITIONS)
Minimum Qualifications:
A Diploma in Construction Management or Trade Test Certificate Grade 1 or CIRA Foremanship Level 2 or any related field from a recognised institution.
Experience and skills:
Must have more than 8 years relevant working experience in site management, building construction techniques, record keeping and report preparation. The incumbent must be of good communication and interpersonal skills for interaction with all stakeholders, be a self-motivated individual and have the ability to manage multiple construction sites.
POSITION: PLUMBER (1 POSITION)
Minimum Qualifications:
A Diploma or Trade Test Certificate Grade 1 in Plumbing or related field from a recognised institution.
Experience and skills:
Must have more than 5 years relevant working experience in plumbing works, operating using a wide range of plumbing tools, materials and scopes. Experience in vulcathene installations will be an added advantage. The incumbent must be of good communication and interpersonal skills and self-motivated individual capable of working with minimum supervision.
POSITION: STOREKEEPERS (3 POSITIONS)
Minimum Qualifications:
MSCE with good passes in Mathematics and English with a minimum of five (5) years’ working experience. Those with a Diploma in Procurement or equivalent with at least three (3) years’ experience hands-on will also be considered an advantage.
Experience and skills:
The incumbent will work under the supervision of the Site Engineer and calls for a mature and experienced person, well versed with a wide range of inventory management and administrative practices. The incumbent must be of good communication and interpersonal skills as a must, self-motivated individual and computer literate; and capable of handling site workers.
