MOBILE MONEY PRODUCTS SPECIALIST (BASED IN BLANTYRE)
Reporting to the Mobile Money Systems Manager, the Mobile Money Products Specialist shall be responsible for executing Mobile Money platform and product configurations in line with TNM business requirements, policies, and procedures. The role ensures platform stability, continuous improvement, security compliance, and effective lifecycle management of mobile money products and integrations.
Major Tasks and Responsibilities
- Scope and define new mobile money solutions in line with product requirements.
- Implement and test integrated solutions in collaboration with system vendors.
- Optimize platform workflows and enhance utilization of built-in system functionality.
- Implement approved change requests on the mobile money system.
- Develop detailed product specifications for new mobile money integrations in liaison with users and senior specialists
- Conduct scheduled product health-checks to identify and mitigate system issues that could impact business operations.
- Implement and manage security configurations to safeguard sensitive information and prevent unauthorized access.
- Conduct disaster recovery testing for all third-party integrated services.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for mobile money products, integrations, and platform customizations.
- Handle and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to the mobile money product lifecycle.
Education, Professional and Other Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or an equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience in application support, system administration, and system integration.
- Experience working with mobile money platforms or financial technology systems will be an added advantage.
