POSTPAID, ENTERPRISE AND SUPPORT SERVICE BILLING MANAGER (BASED IN BLANTYRE)

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Billing Operations, the Postpaid, Enterprise, and Support Service Billing Manager will be responsible for managing all postpaid, enterprise, and support service billing operations, as well as overseeing the management of the organization’s trade stocks in close collaboration with Finance, Commercial, and Sales teams. The role ensures accurate billing, effective reconciliations, compliance with regulatory requirements, and efficient support service delivery.

Major Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Implement postpaid, enterprise, and support service tariffs, offers, and services on core billing platforms in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Manage month-end bill runs and support service billing processes.
  • Provide second-level support for postpaid, enterprise, and trade stock billing issues.
  • Conduct end-to-end reconciliations between billing platforms and network elements.
  • Manage contracts and SLAs related to postpaid, enterprise, and support service billing.
  • Oversee trade stock levels in collaboration with Finance and Sales teams.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory, internal audit, and enterprise risk compliance requirements.

Education, Professional and Other Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Information Technology or its equivalent.
  • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience within the telecommunications industry, specifically in Billing operations.
  • Sound knowledge of Oracle/SQL, Linux, and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Knowledge of Huawei BSS architecture will be an added advantage.
  • Strong analytical, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
