Satemwa Ulendo Lodges is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the post of Housekeeper tenable in Thyolo at Satemwa Tea Estate.

The Housekeeper will be reporting to the Manager.

MAIN DUTIES

• Cleaning guest rooms and making sure amenities are available in the rooms
• Welcoming guests upon their arrival and show them around the house
• Report to management about any house issues concerning maintenance
• Doing basic cooking, and cleaning dishes for the house.
• Making sure that Linen and laundry for the house is under control
• Making Sure that all communal areas of the house are properly cleaned and set up to meet the highest standards of cleanliness
• Making sure that there is security around the house and reporting to management about any strange incidents.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Diploma in Hotel or Hospitality Management with at least 2 years working experience as a housekeeper

SKILLS AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES

Should be able to speak English, Excellent in communication skills (both written and oral) Interpersonal skills, High moral, ethical and professional standards, attention to details, High integrity.
