SALES ADMINISTRATOR

INTRODUCTION
Telekom Networks Malawi Plc (TNM) is looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Sales Administrator to join our Sales & Distribution team. The successful candidate will report to the Sales Director and will play a key role in driving quality subscriber connections, managing the Mpamba ecosystem, and ensuring 100% product availability within the assigned cluster. This is a permanent position, based in Lilongwe in the Sales and Distribution division.

MAJOR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage dealer/agent onboarding documentation (contracts, KYC checks).
  • Track inventory of devices, SIM cards, and promotional materials.
  • Process sales orders (new activations, upgrades, SIM swaps) accurately and promptly.
  • Maintain CRM/sales databases and update agent performance records.
  • Generate daily/weekly sales reports (activations, churn rates, revenue trends).
  • Analyze sales data to identify gaps and recommend corrective actions.
  • Calculate and validate agent/dealer commissions based on predefined rules.
  • Resolve commission disputes and ensure timely payouts.
  • Administer sales incentive programs (SIP) and monitor compliance.
  • Act as a liaison between sales and internal teams (finance, IT, marketing).
  • Distribute marketing collateral, rate plans, and product updates to regions.
  • Train dealers and agents on compliance, order processes, and system tools.

EDUCATIONAL AND PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills under tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of prepaid/postpaid systems, ARPU, churn metrics, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet set targets.
  • A minimum of a Degree in Business Administration.
