ROLE PURPOSE
Reporting to Chief Executive Officer, the Executive Assistant – Strategy & Business Support provides high level executive, strategic, and business support to senior leadership. The role goes beyond traditional administrative duties to include strategic coordination, business analysis, preparation of executive-level presentations, and participation in internal and external business engagements. The incumbent acts as a trusted partner to the Executive Management Team, enabling effective decision-making and execution of organizational initiatives
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
STRATEGIC & EXECUTIVE SUPPORT
- Act as a strategic liaison between the Executive and internal/external stakeholders.
- Support the Executive in planning, monitoring, and tracking strategic initiatives and business priorities.
- Conduct research, prepare briefs, and provide insights to support executive decision-making.
- Attend high-level meetings on behalf of or alongside the Executives, capturing actions and following up on deliverables.
BUSINESS PRESENTATIONS & EXECUTIVE COMMUNICATION
- Develop high-quality PowerPoint presentations, board packs, business proposals, and pitch decks.
- Translate complex business information into clear, compelling presentations and reports.
- Support the preparation and delivery of business pitches and stakeholder engagements.
- Ensure executive communications are professional, accurate, and aligned with corporate strategy.
STAKEHOLDER & PROJECT COORDINATION
- Coordinate cross-functional projects initiated by the Executives’ Offices.
- Engage senior managers to track progress on key deliverables and deadlines.
- Prepare executive dashboards, reports, and performance summaries.
- Manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
EXECUTIVE OFFICE MANAGEMENT
- Manage the Executive’s schedule, prioritizing strategic engagements and meetings.
- Prepare agendas, briefing notes, and background materials ahead of meetings.
- Follow up on decisions and ensure execution of agreed actions.
- Support governance processes, including board and executive committee meetings where applicable.
BUSINESS & ANALYTICAL SUPPORT
- Assist in reviewing business proposals, insurance policy documents, and strategic documents.
- Conduct market or industry research to support business development initiatives.
- Provide basic financial or operational analysis as required.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements within the Executives’ Offices.
KEY COMPETENCIES & SKILLS
- Strong business acumen and understanding of organizational strategy.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, with the ability to create executive-level presentations.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and highly organized.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
- Postgraduate qualification or professional certification will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an executive support, strategy support, or senior administrative role.
- Demonstrated experience in preparing executive presentations and business proposals.
- Experience working directly with senior leadership executives.
