Vizara Plantations Limited, rubber manufacturing company and Timber production, do export and local sale, situated some 10 km away from Chintheche turn off ( M5 Road) invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill the vacant position of a Cost Accountant.
Reporting to the Financial Controller.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A Bachelor’ Degree in Financial Accounting.
- Aged between 25 to 35 with 3-5years of experience in a very busy Agricultural Plantations/ Manufacturing.
- Excellent in written and oral communication skills
- Data entry skills with MS Office advanced levels
- Should have management experience of at least 2 to 3 years in the same role
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
These shall include but not limited to;
- Control on movements of goods imported as well local pricing of products
- Stock reconciliation and verification with system
- Cost sheet maintenance and stock valuation
- Monthly MIS Reports in specific formats
- Preparation of data required for board meetings
- Payroll verification
- The low value added tasks to have
- Control and stock counts
- Mill production stats.
- Mill accounting
- Other stuff to work in with you and new OM
- Transporter management
- Assisting on procurement
REMUNERATIONS
Remuneration will be in line with the experience and suitability of the candidate. And two weeks’ pay annual bonus.
