Serendib Group of Hotels is looking for vibrant, strong and highly professional individuals to take up the following position:

SOUS CHEF

  • Minimum 5 years’ culinary experience with at least 2 years as Chef de Partie or Sous Chef in a reputable hotel or restaurant.
  • Strong skills in menu execution, food preparation, quality control, and maintaining kitchen standards.
  • Ability to lead and mentor kitchen staff, ensuring timely service and adherence to recipes and plating standards.
  • Thorough knowledge of food costing, stock rotation, hygiene standards, and HACCP compliance.
  • Ability to work closely with the Executive Chef to create high-quality menus, manage prep schedules, and maintain consistency.
  • Must be a holder of a Diploma or Certificate from a recognized hospitality institution.
