Ripple Africa invites applications from candidates who meet the qualifications stated below to fill the following vacant positions:
POSITIONS: ELEVEN (11) PINE TREE PLANTING PROJECT COORDINATOR
DUTIES:
A summary of the main duties is listed below but further tasks will be included as required by the organisation and management team:
- Responsible for managing the Tree Planting project in their area
- Planning – responsible for making sure that existing plans are being implemented correctly and that the project is working well
- Problem solving – responsible for solving project issues in their area. This must be done quickly and efficiently. If problems persist contact the Area Tree Planting Manager.
- Meeting deadlines – making sure that project deadlines are met and make sure the project does not fall behind schedule
- Field trips – ongoing random checking of project progress
- Communication with Tree Planting Area Project Manager – must be in constant contact with this person, speaking to them at least three times a week
- Monthly work plan – this must be submitted to the Area Tree Planting Project Manager on the 1st of each month
- Project paperwork – making sure that all project paperwork and forms are submitted to the area Manager in time and before the set deadlines
- Monthly environmental progress report and data- must be submitted every month to the Area Tree Planting
Project Manager by the 28th of each month
QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma in Community Development
- Those with Advanced Diploma will have an added advantage
