Role summary

The Investment Banking Manager – Corporate Securitisations is responsible for originating, structuring, and executing large asset-backed finance transactions for private sector clients.

The role focuses on unlocking value from existing assets through securitisation structures and developing tradable financial securities, while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and credit policies. The manager drives business growth by identifying new opportunities, managing strategic stakeholder relationships, and contributing to revenue generation through cross-selling and market innovation.

Key responsibilities

The Manager, Investment Banking – Corporate Securitizations is a senior manager in investment banking and shall: –

  1. Work closely with clients at decision making levels
  2. Lead in negotiating transactions up to detailed structuring and closure
  3. Take ownership to ensure the services offered to clients are performing as expected and that information is communicated, and problems resolved in a timely manner
  4. Proactively seek opportunities to engage with the market looking for ways to provide financial services and maintaining long term good relationships.
  5. Be an expert in securitizations
  6. Establish strong local and international relationships for skills transfer and fund raising
  7. Be assessed on a regular basis based on agreed targets and KPls
  8. Possess comprehensive knowledge of regulatory and legal issues in investment banking

  10. Has good project management skills.

Qualifications and experience

  1. A post graduate degree in Business Administration or MSc in Banking, Finance, Economics from a recognized University.
  2. A chartered accountant or a chartered Financial Analyst will have an added advantage
  3. Knowledge and experience in financial modelling.
  4. At least 7 years’ experience in treasury, banking, and/or finance.
  5. At least 7 years’ experience in a managerial position in a financial institution.
