RESPONSIBILITIES
Overall Objective
The Role will be in-charge of the Total Rewards and Benefits Section, HR Opex Analysis & Management, Employee Relations, Fleet Management and preparation of documents/information for legislative and/or internal reporting in order to optimize management of Airtel’s Human Resources.
Key Result Areas (Role and Responsibilities) (KRAs)
a) Payroll Management:-
- Payroll Processing & Management
- Ensure Compliance laws governing payroll process are followed
- Timely Reporting & statutory fillings
- Update Pay Scales periodically
- Ensure cost projections, non-ctc payouts, ctc payouts
- Benefits Management & Administration
- Pension Fund Management & Administration,
- Offroll Payroll Management & Governance
b) HR Audits Management:-
- Facilitate HR Audits with internal & External Stakeholders
- Plan for HR Audits
- Ensure Timely Resolution of Audit Queries
c) HR Opex Management:-
- Ensure Monthly Analysis of HR Opex
- Ensure to come up with initiatives on War on Waste
- Review AOP vs Actual analysis and recommend initiatives and policy changes
d) Rewards & Recognition Management & Administration
- Administration of Cash & Non-cash rewards
- Budget & track the Rewards Budget
e) Generate Offer Proposals & contract management
- Generate and Negotiate on Offers
- Draft and Manage Employment Contracts
f) Data Reporting:
- HR Opex Variance Analysis
- Flash & Forecast Report
- Provisions Report
- Actuarial Valuation Report
- Total Cost to Company Reports
g) Employee Relations
- Conduct Policy Review & Implementation
- Conduct Policy Clinics
- Manage Grievance/ conflict redressal
- Manage Disciplinary Hearings
- Management of litigations
- Union Management
h) Fleet Management
- Conduct Policy Review & Implementation
- Cost Management
- Conduct Policy Clinics
- Contract Negotiations
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in social sciences/ Business Administration/ Human Resources with Qualification in Accounting equivalent
Experience
• At least 5 years experience in a similar position.
Personal Skills & Qualities
• Computer skills – Ms Office
• Fluent English and Swahili
• Knowledge of HR concepts
