Malawi Airlines is the national flag carrier that operates B737-700, B737-800 and Q400 Aircrafts having direct flights to regional cities of Johannesburg; Lusaka; Harare, Nairobi and Dares Salaam; besides daily domestic flights between Lilongwe and Blantyre. The Airline offers warm and friendly service to make customers feel at home. It plays vital role to promote tourism and trade by providing value for money services to all the destinations it operates. COMMERCIAL AIRLINE PILOT – CAPTAIN
Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons to fill in the position of Commercial Airline Pilot – Captain, based in Lilongwe. The role holder will be reporting to the Head of Flight Operations and Chief Pilot.
Qualifications and Work Experience
- Must have a valid Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL).
- Must have a minimum of 2500 Turbo Prop hours in command OR
- Must have a minimum of 3500 Jet hours in command
- Pilots with Type Rating Instructor/Examiner (TRI/E) will have an added advantage.
Medical
- Class One ICAO Medical Certificate.
Age
- Must be 35 years old and above.
