OPERATIONS MANAGER – ZIWETO BREEDING SOLUTIONS
Ziweto Enterprises Limited, a fast-growing agribusiness operating across Malawi’s livestock value chain, is establishing Ziweto Breeding Solutions—a new integrated breeder farm and hatchery unit. We are seeking a dynamic Operations Manager to lead this strategic venture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the breeder farm and hatchery.
- Supervise the Breeder Farm Supervisor and Hatchery Supervisor.
- Ensure high biosecurity, production efficiency, and chick quality.
- Manage incubation, hatching, and chick distribution to Ziweto customers.
- Coordinate production planning, staff management, and performance reporting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, Poultry Science, Agriculture, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in commercial poultry or hatchery operations.
- Strong leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of breeder management, incubation processes, and logistics.
