JOB TITLE: DENTIST (1)

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the post of Dentist tenable at Mumbwe Medical Centre in Mzuzu.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1. Performing thorough diagnoses and developing comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
2. Independently managing daily clinic operations and ensuring smooth patient flow
3. Contributing to managerial tasks, including inventory.
4. Basic Clinical work plus managing advanced procedures.
5. Evaluating treatment programs and conducting treatment adjustments.
6. Liaise with other units involved with Dental activities in the centre.
7. Recording data in relevant registers and instruments, compile and perform routine analysis, monitor the performance, take necessary actions for improvement of dental services and submit quarterly reports to designated officer.
8. Any other duties deemed reasonable for the post.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Dentistry.
2. Must possess a minimum of 2 years plus of experience in the hospital sector
3. Hands on experience on advanced dentistry like Intra Oral Scanners, Lasers, Full Mouth Rehabilitations.
4. Able to work in a team and produce quality output under tight deadlines.
5. Strong verbal and oral communication skills
6. Self-motivated and strong analytical skills and willing to work odd hours.
7. Embodies strong customer orientation and seeks new and better ways to serve clients.
