Position: Security Guard
About the Role:
We are seeking vigilant, responsible, and committed Security Guards to join our team. The successful candidates will be responsible for ensuring the safety and protection of our clients’ premises, staff, and property.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle to maintain a visible security presence
- Monitor surveillance systems, alarms, and security equipment
- Control entry and exit points, verifying identification and authorization as needed
- Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, or suspicious activities
- Prepare accurate and detailed incident and activity reports
- Assist in enforcing safety regulations and company policies
- Provide assistance to staff, visitors, and contractors when required
- Liaise with law enforcement or emergency services during critical incidents
- Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and courteous conduct at all times
- Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications & Skills:
- Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) or equivalent; security training or certification preferred
- Proven previous experience as a security guard or in a related field
- Knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols
- Excellent observation and reporting skills
- Ability to operate security systems and basic computer applications
- Physically fit, with the ability to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods
- Valid Malawi National ID

- Shifts may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Indoor and outdoor work in varying weather conditions
- May require standing or walking for long periods
