Business Intelligence (BI) Specialist

BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE (BI) SPECIALIST (GRADE C3)

Reporting to the Senior Manager – Business Intelligence and Reporting, the Business Intelligence (BI) Specialist shall be responsible for the designing, developing, and maintaining robust Business Intelligence solutions using Qlik Sense. The successful candidate will be responsible for transforming complex raw telecom data into intuitive dashboards and actionable insights, thereby enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Major Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Qlik Sense for various business units.
• Translate complex telecom datasets (Call Detail Records- CDRs, customer profiles, network KPls) into meaningful and impactful insights.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, design key performance indicators (KP|s), and deliver effective analytics solutions.
• Develop and optimize ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines to source, clean, and transform large datasets from multiple systems.
• Build and optimize Bl data models for high performance and scalability.
• Work closely with the Data Engineering team to integrate advanced analytics and predictive models into live BI solutions.
• Ensure all solutions adhere to strict data integrity, governance, and security standards.
• Proactively analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.

Educational and Professional Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in BI development, preferably within the telecom industry or other high-volume data environ-ments.
• Strong proficiency in Bl tools (Qlik Sense, Power Bl, or Tableau), including scripting and data modeling.
• Solid SQL skills for querying, analyzing, and manipulating large datasets.
• Familiarity with Python and key data science libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn) is a strong advantage.
• Understanding telecom data sources (billing systems, CRM, network data) is highly desirable.

• Excellent ability in data storytelling, cross-functional collaboration, and technical documentation.
• High attention to detail and superior problem-solving skills.
• Candidates with hands-on experience in Qlik Sense Bl and Python-based data science will have a significant competitive edge.
