Applications are invited from suitably qualified, experienced, self-motivated, and enthusiastic individuals for the post of System Support Officer – Core Banking tenable at Head Office, Lilongwe.
Job Purpose
Reporting to the IT Manager, the incumbent is primarily responsible for support of the bank’s Core Banking System (Flexcube).
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for the bank’s systems i.e. Flexcube, MITASS, ChequePoint, CFERS, SWIFT.
- Conduct and facilitate User Acceptance Testing.
- Preparing change requests for system changes.
- Preparing and submitting CRB reports.
- Data mining.
- Carrying out End of Day where necessary.
- User management.
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills/Competencies
- Degree in a computer related field from a recognized institution.
- Advanced technical knowledge in core banking systems in general and Flexcube in particular.
- Three (3) years experience in similar role in the financial services sector in general and in banking in particular.
