VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

Islamic Health Association of Malawi (IHAM) is a local Non-Governmental Organization registered with the registrar general, CONGOMA, and NGO Board dedicated in improving the health care services in Malawi in conformity with Islamic teachings to all Malawians irrespective of faith and economic. IHAM has 23 Health Facilities located in the South and Central Regions of Malawi. IHAM facilities are situated in urban, remote and hard to reach areas.

IHAM in conjunction with Ministry of Health wishes to fill the following vacant positions to be based in our facilities in Mangochi.

Job Title: Community Midwife Assistant
Grade: M
Salary: Within the range of Grade M Salary Segment
Reporting to: Community Health Nurse Midwife Technician
Location: Mama Khadija Health Centre
Department: Community & Nutrition Rehabilitation Services

Qualification

Applicants must be in possession of a Certificate in Community Midwifery from accredited University/institutions and must be registered with Midwives Council of Malawi. Must have not less than two years’ experience as community Midwife Assistant under a busy hospital.
