AUTO ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN – GRADE-EG9 (1 POSITION)

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the vacant post of Auto Electrical Technician-EG9 tenable in the Company at Kapichira Power Station. This post reports to the Human Resources and Administration Officer.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Participating in the preparation and implementation of Motor Vehicle Preventive maintenance schedules.
• Carrying out motor vehicle breakdown maintenance.
• Ensuring that motor vehicles have valid COF and insurance certificates.
• Ensuring that insurance claims are timely reported to the Insurance Claims Officer.
• Initiating procurement of auto-electrical spare parts for motor vehicles.
• Compiling monthly reports.
• Any other duties assigned.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

• Holder of a Malawi School Certificate of Education.
• Malawi Tevet Diploma (Level 4) or City and Guilds Advanced Diploma or University Diploma in Motor Vehicle Systems or Diploma in Automotive Mechatronics.
• Valid Driving License Class C1.
• Aged between 25-45.
• Physically fit and willing to work odd hours and during weekends.
