POST: GROUND LABOURER
GRADE: R
SALARY: Within Grade R Government Salary Scale Segment
LOCATION: Griffin Saenda Sports Complex under Ministry of Youth and Sports
RESPONSIBLE TO : Clerical Officer (Grade M)
QUALIFICATION
- Applicants should be holders of either Malawi School Certificate of Education / Malawi Junior Certificate of Education.
- Applicants must be between 25-45 years of age and should attach National Identity Card.
DUTIES
- Maintaining and cultivating lawns
- Carrying out lighter maintenance of hand tools and basic light machinery
- Keeping the tool shed/mess room clean and tidy
- Taking care of liter bins around the premises of the stadium
- Erecting and dismantling “do it yourself (DIY) equipment, sports equipment
- Marking and over marking sports pitches, running tracks, field events.
- Cleaning sanitary facilities.
- Conducting soil cultivation, digging, forking,mulching, watering, raking, weeding, edging, pruning plants, nursery bed preparation and planting.
