SECURITY GUARD
POST: Security Guard
GRADE: P
SALARY: Within Grade P Government Salary Scale Segment
LOCATION: Ministry of Youth and Sports
RESPONSIBLE TO: Head Security Guard (Grade O)
QUALIFICATION
Applicants should be holders of either Malawi School Certificate of Education or Malawi Junior Certificate of Education. Those with experience in similar job will have an Added advantage. Applicants must be between 25-45 years of age and should attach National Identity Card.
DUTIES
- Protecting all Government property within premises
- Inspecting and patrolling premises regularly
- Checking that all dolls and windows are closed after working hours
- Reporting theft, vandalism and fire incidents to the appropriate authorities, police and Fire Brigade
- Providing assistance and directing people to the appropriate offices
- Any other duties assigned from time to time
