ACADEMY SCHOOL PRINCIPAL

We are seeking an inspiring and dynamic leader to join our school as Principal. In this pivotal role, you will lead a dedicated team of educators and support staff, shaping the academic and cultural direction of our institution.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate instructors and other staff members to ensure that the standardized curriculum is adhered to and identify areas of improvement.
• Discipline students according to school policy and enforce campus rules, such as dress code and attendance policy
• Collaborate with teachers, parents and students to provide the best education for each student and assist them in their academic and professional goals.
• Participate in hiring, training and other employment activities for instructors and secondary staff members.
• Oversee budgeting and grant proposals. and determine budget allocations of supplies, materials and staff equipment.
• Lead professional development programs for staff and encourage teachers to attend regional conferences to maintain the best academic programs.
• Provide guidance and counseling services to students on their academic or vocational goals and offer assistance with behavioral modification programs.

Skills & Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in education, doctorate preferred
• 5-7 year’s experience as principal or vice principal
• Excellent Communication skills verbal and oral
• Proven Problem solving skills to enhance teacher performance and improve student grades
• Coursework in conflict management
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
