CATERING SUPERVISOR (GRADE K/M8)
Post: Catering Supervisor
Grade: HK/M8
Location : Thyolo District Council
Duties:
- Ensuring proper storage of food
- Ensuring that patients are provided a well-balanced diet
- Ensuring cleanliness in the kitchen
- Ensuring that food is prepared hygienically
- Preparing duty roaster for kitchen staff
- Purchasing the right quantity and quality foodstuff
- Maintaining an up to date record of food ledger and inventory of all kitchen equipment’s
- Supervising catering assistants
- Conducting occasional visits to wards with an aim of improving catering services.
Qualification
Applicants must be serving Senior Catering Assistant (Grade L/M9) with four years’ experience at that grade or non-serving member with a Diploma in Catering Hospitality Management or Hotel Management obtained from an accredited institution
