COUNTRY DIRECTOR – ADRA MALAWI

The Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) Malawi, a humanitarian and development organization committed to improving lives through sustainable development and relief interventions, is seeking a dynamic, experienced and visionary person to fill the position of Country Director.
Position: Country Director
Reports to: ADRA Malawi Board Chairman and the Executive Director of ADRA Africa.
Supervises: Senior Management Team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and direction to ensure the achievement of ADRA Malawi’s mission and objectives.
- Strengthen ADRA Malawi’s visibility, partnerships, and networking with donors, government, and stakeholders.
- Oversee program development, financial management, and administration in line with ADRA’s policies and best international practices.
- Ensure good governance and compliance with organizational and donor requirements.
- Responsible for development, implementation, monitoring and reporting of projects.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum of a master’s degree in leadership, Community development, Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of seven (7) years experience in a senior management position is required.
- Leadership training is an added advantage.
Other requirements
- Strong leadership, networking, and fundraising skills.
- God fearing and a practicing Christian in good standing with his/her church.
- Good communication skills.
- Team player.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required.
