About Us
Join our team at Ulemu Bus Services (UBS), a leading provider of transportation solutions with a commitment to quality and safety.
We are expanding our operations and are looking for skilled Workshop Mechanics to help us maintain our fleet of buses.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on buses to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and implement effective solutions.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a safe and efficient workshop environment.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a mechanic, preferably in the automotive or transportation industry.
- Possession of trade test MVM Grade 2
- Strong knowledge of bus systems, mechanics, and electrical components especially Scania.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in automotive mechanics are an advantage.
