When the Saints is looking for qualified trauma counselors!

Qualifications

Fluent in English and Chichewa.
Must have passion for the welfare of children.
Must be around 35-45 years of age.
Have diploma in counseling or psychology from a recognized institution.
Those with a Degree will have an added advantage.
Ability to relate and communicate well with children and also do family counseling.
Must be a born again Christian.

Duties and Responsibilities

Provide counseling and guidance to the sexually exploited girls.
Assess children’s needs, strength, weaknesses and situations to determine their goals.
Must ensure high levels of emotional, physical care and appropriate activities of children planned and provided as they journey to healing.
Work with families and communities on creating and strengthening a support system for the child through sensitization and advocacy.
Make follow-ups to the discharged children to ensure that their situation has improved.
Monitor girl’s progress and adjust their treatment plan.
