JOB OPPORTUNITY
Limbe Leaf Tobacco Company Limited, one of the leading tobacco processors in Malawi, has the following vacant position at its Head Office in Lilongwe on full time basis.
IMPORTS SUPERVISOR
The successful candidate will among other duties be required to:
- Prepare orders and monitor (foreign goods)
- Prepare pre-shipment costing
- Facilitate clearing of shipment
- Prepare tobacco import licenses
- Ensure that all documents are properly filed
- Process duty waivers
- Evaluate agent performance
QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of Degree in Procurement & Supply Chain Management from a recognized institution
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a busy freight forwarding institution in a similar role
- Hardworking and trustworthy
- Must be between 30 and 45 years of age
- Must have a valid driving license – class C1
- Must have excellent communication skills
- Must be a self-starter and able to work with minimum supervision
