Consumer Lending Analyst, Group

Role Overview
The Consumer Lending Analyst, Group, reporting to the Senior Consumer Lending Manager, Group, oversees consumer lending performance, ensuring revenue growth, loan book management, and regulatory compliance. The role enhances system efficiency, analyzes business performance, manages risks, and collaborates with stakeholders to drive profitability and operational resilience.

Key Responsibilities
- Providing business performance insights.
- Conducting system functionality reviews and gathering user requirements across multiple operations.
- Developing operational and technical specifications for new or modified systems.
- Oversee project management, including implementation, post-review, and closure of various initiatives.
- Assisting in achieving business growth targets,
- Maintaining a high-quality loan portfolio, ensuring compliance with Group and Country standards.
- Ensuring governance oversight, including tracking internal audit issues, process improvements, and timely reporting.
- Improving system efficiencies to support sustainable business growth and operational effectiveness.
- Identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks within different operations to enhance business resilience.
- Managing effective collaboration between local country operations and third-party service providers.
- Prepare and deliver accurate, timely board reports for various business operations.
- Monitor regulatory changes, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external legal requirements.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate seamless operations.
- Conducting business performance analysis through regular reporting to management.
- Oversee vendor engagements, evaluating IT controls, cybersecurity measures, and service efficiencies.
- Promoting First Capital Bank’s values, including integrity, service excellence, and collaboration.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and business acumen to drive operational success.
Skills, Knowledge, and Competencies:
- Problem-solving skills and business acumen to drive operational success.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting concepts, principles and standards
- Knowledge of business products
- Good communication skills
- Digital and data analysis expertise
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree in Statistics, Finance, Banking, Business, Risk or related areas.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Data and Business Analytics or Business Intelligence related field
- Excellent knowledge of processes and procedures, specifically in Consumer Lending would be an added advantage
