Purpose
This position is responsible for leading the implementation, management and performance of leaf processing shift plans by modelling a positive culture to achieve key performance indicators.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring the processing plan is executed and the specified processing targets (safety, quality, yield, productivity) are met in every shift.
- Enforcing contamination elimination and NTRM prevention measures.
- Ensuring that processes for tobacco accountability and traceability are fully carried out.
- Maintain a work environment that prioritizes personal health and safety.
Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma or Bachelors Degree in of Science/Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in tobacco processing industry.
- Good knowledge of tobacco packing specifications, machine configuration and settings
- Excellent leadership, planning, prioritization skills and analytical skills.
