Finance and Administration Officer

Kwacha Fund

  1. Finance and Administration Officer (based in Blantyre):
    You’ll work closely with the Chief Executive Officer and relevant teams within Kwacha Fund in the delivery of Kwacha Fund growth strategy. You will drive internal control systems, and you will be the primary architect and support for Kwacha Fund Finance and Administration deliverables.
  2. Responsibilities
    • Monitor budgets and expenditures and contribute to budget planning and revision;
    • Ensure the financial transactions are authorized, recorded, filed with adequate supporting documentation, and maintained.
    • Prepare and submit timely and reliable financial updates, reports and statements.
      Maintain an inventory of all the purchased items.
    • Serve as the primary liaison with external auditors, preparing accounts and reports for external audits, responding to audit queries and following up and acting on audit recommendations.
    • Supporting the human resources functions and all administrative work.
  3. Qualifications:
    Bachelor of Commence Degree in Accounting, Finance or any relevant qualification. 3 years’ experience. Only those that are not above 35 years old will be shortlisted.
