About Us

Beehive Centre for Social Enterprise is dedicated to transforming lives and communities through innovative and sustainable social enterprises. We create opportunities, foster entrepreneurship, and delivering impactful solutions to address the socio-economic challenges in Malawi. With a staff of 597, we run schools, businesses, farms and a construction enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, cash flow forecasting, Balance Sheet reconciliations and financial planning.
• Manage financial reporting, ensuring compliance with local regulations and international standards.
• Lead the finance team, providing mentorship and fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
• Collaborate with senior management to support strategic decision-making and business development.
• Ensure effective risk management and internal controls are in place, and lead with Auditors.
• Liaise with donors, stakeholders, and partners to secure funding and manage financial relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, and Professional Qualification (ACA / CPA / ACC / CIMA) or equivalent certification, with minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior management role.
• Proven track record in financial systems design, financial planning and reporting, with strong analytical, problem solving and decision making skills.
• Self-motivated and result orientated leadership.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal skills and assertive nature.
