Responsibilities:

Develop all business of the Branch: freight forwarding, shipping, warehousing, logistics, projects, etc.
Prepare and execute business plan for achieving Branch objectives.
Ensuring timely and accurate internal and external project reporting and controlling.
Monitoring customs and financial operations in conformity with FCPA requirement.
Establishing and monitoring daily operations, time schedules and manpower planning.
Coordinating and liaising daily with client, suppliers and subcontractors.
Drawing up and implementing procedures related to logistics and freight forwarding activities.
Maintaining particularly close relations with client’s headquarters and coordinating all communications.
Manage and encourage his team to optimize their outputs and to manage relationships in order to achieve organizational goals.
Prepare and submit for approval monthly Branch KPI’s and activities reports.
Ensure quality service delivery to all AL Mozambique clients is maintained.
Establishing close ties with international and local partners (forwarding companies, customs, port, airport).
Implementing and ensuring conformity with Company and Client’s QHSE standards.
Ensuring that project documentation is tracked, registered and files updated.
Ensuring that HSE competency and training requirements are met.
Adhere to AL Business and Ethics Policy.
Implement AL Procedures and Policies in the Branch.
Implement HSE and Quality Management System in the Branch.

Qualifications:

Branch Manager must possess a bachelor’s degree in business management or administration.
Minimum of 3 years relevant experience.
Fluent spoken and written English.
Familiar with computer usage.
Proven track record of hiring, training and managing staff to meet company objectives.
Familiar with computer usage for using Management Systems.
Demonstrable experience in monitoring procedures.
Having significant managerial experience and entrepreneurial outlook.
Strategic mind and good organizational skills.
