Opportunities have arisen for suitably qualified and experienced individuals to fill the following vacant positions tenable in various Sunbird Hotels, across the country.
ASSISTANT INTERNAL AUDITORS
Duties and Responsibilities
- Carrying out reviews of hotel revenues for accuracy.
- Reviewing the night audit processes.
- Reviewing front office processes to ensure adherence to standard operating procedures.
- Conducting surprise cash counts in all revenue centres
- Checking the receiving processes of items procured by the hotel for adherence to procedures.
- Investigating any breaches of internal controls.
- Providing input to reports and assisting in making recommendations for improvement.
- Following up resolution of implementation plans for reported issues.
- Any other duties assigned from time to time.
Knowledge, Skills, Competencies and Attributes desired:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Internal Auditing or equivalent qualification from any institution recognised by NCHE.
- 2 years’ experience in auditing financial and operational processes.
- A diploma in Accounting with 5 years’ hands on experience would also be considered.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills.
- An individual with a positive work attitude and of high moral and ethical standing.
